The Visitors

(in post- production)

11 min

Two years after a forest fire ravages California’s first state park, visitors return to a transformed landscape, redefining their relationship with the once-familiar redwood trees, the park itself, and a new permanent specter on the horizon: wildfire.

DEAR EARTHLING

(in post-production)

21 min

While considering freezing her eggs, a filmmaker begins writing letters to a hypothetical future person, someone whose very existence, and ability to live on Earth, would depend on fragile systems of temperature control. In search of clarity, she turns her camera toward other human acts of preservation: national parks, seed banks, landscape paintings, and her parents’ storage unit. A deeply personal journey becomes a broader meditation on uncertainty, control, and the stories we tell ourselves about the past, the future, and our place in both.
